I started in enterprise software and consulting, co-founded startups and served as CTO of a national nonprofit. Since 2016 I have owned a real estate brokerage and a Las Vegas property management company. I wrote the software that runs both.

Rental lead intake
Parses inquiries from five listing sites, matches each to the right property with fuzzy address matching, drafts replies through the Claude API and logs every step.

Product and roadmap
Roadmap ownership, discovery with operators, requirements and acceptance criteria, build, buy or integrate decisions.
Most of my product decisions start with watching how property staff work today.
Architecture and integrations
APIs, middleware, scheduled and event-driven data pipelines, systems of record, failure and duplicate handling.
Designed the BrightMLS and Coality pipelines that keep listing data current across both brand sites.
Property operations
Leasing funnel, applications and screening, rent collection, work orders, trust accounting, tenant portals.
Run the tenant side of the Las Vegas business through rent.changevegas.com: payments, maintenance and messaging.
Delivery and production
Environments, code review, CI/CD, release management, monitoring, incident response.
I write most new code with Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, and review it the way I would review an agency's work.
Vendor and partner management
Agencies, ISVs and consultants. Technical standards, code ownership and what a clean handover needs to include.
Created the VMware Certified Virtual Appliance Program and led its global ISV outreach.
Security and data
Tenant and financial data handling, access control, audit logging, regulatory compliance.
Built UpTogether's first platform, which collected and reported families' financial and progress data.
